The approach
This course focuses on best practices actually implemented by some of the most successful companies. Theory which doesn’t hold to the test of reality isn’t taught here.
The lecturer, Luca Dell’Anna is an experienced Operational Excellence consultant who worked with many international corporations and who practiced in the Consulting division of DuPont, the world leader in Workplace Safety and Operational Excellence consulting. His CV can be downloaded here.
Who is this course for?
The course is intended for managers who never received an extensive training on management best practices, or for graduates who, after a few years working in a company, would aspire to move to a management position.
Managers will enjoy a down-to-earth approach on how to solve practical problems they might have been encountering in their day-to-day, and a toolset of the best practices used by some of the most effective companies in their own field.
Graduates will enjoy a realistic view of the real-world problems they will face in their career, and proven techniques for how to solve them in practice, not in theory.
This course does not require any previous formal knowledge, but any participant will strongly benefit from some experience working in a company or factory environment and in having managed teams, to have an idea of the real problematics one might encounter in such environments.
Certification
Participants will receive a certificate, provided that they attend at least 80% of the course hours.
